We wanted to share with you the evolution of our new vet practice in Sutton Bridge.
We’ve intended this post to be a visual record of the amazing journey we are going on as we transform a run-down, social club into a shiny-new vet practice in the town of Sutton Bridge. We really want to show you what we started with and the hard work that goes on behind the scenes to make a dream vet practice for you and your pets.
We will keep adding photos to this gallery so you can see progress and we’ll keep you posted as we add new sets of pictures over the next few months.

7th Nov 23 – Phase 2 completed!
We’re thrilled to announce the successful completion of Phase 2 in our practice expansion. The new enhancements include a dedicated prep area, updated soft tissue operating theatres, an isolation room, a specialized dentistry section, scrub area, pharmacy, and laboratory. These improvements reflect our commitment to providing you with top-notch healthcare in a modern and comfortable environment.
Thank you for your trust and support. We can’t wait to welcome you to our upgraded facilities!
14th June 23 – Phase 2 is well underway!
The second phase of refurbishment of our spacious premises is now underway.
Once work has been completed we will have:
- 3 fully equipped theatres,
- a dedicated dental suite,
- an additional prep room,
- separate dog and cat wards.
And there is still more to come in the future! 😊
8th November 22 – 4 months on
Improvements are still continuing here at Sutton Bridge vets.
As planned, we now have 3 consultation rooms available, and our service corridor is complete.
Since our last update, we’ve had seating fitted in reception and have gradually added more and more personal touches to the practice.
4th July 22 – Opening Day!
Opening day is finally here! We’ve now opened our doors and have everything we need to care for your pets.
Stage 1 of the build is now complete!
This means we have completed all essential rooms in the practice in order to provide great care. But the work doesn’t stop here, we’ll be progressing further with more to come in the near future. Here are some first-look photos of the practice.
16th June 22 – The finishing touches…
Work continues to progress nicely, and we’re now completing the flooring, and fitting the new ceilings. Our X-Ray room is near completion, and many other rooms are also almost ready for furnishings and equipment! The reception desk is ready, and we’re now just adding the finishing touches and waiting on our shiny new signage to arrive.
16th May – It’s coming together!
As you can see from the photos below, we’ve now started installing furniture, cabinets, and building some of the other furnishings like the seating for the waiting area.
The reception desk has been constructed, ready for finishing very soon. We’ve also had new ceilings installed, and it’s starting to look a lot more like a vet practice now!
26th April – Work continues…
We’ve now completed the majority of the electrical wiring and plasterboarding in the practice. The reception desk is being created, and the rooms are really taking shape. Plastering is well underway and we’re now deciding which colour to paint our consulting rooms! We’ve also given the outside of the building a good clean, and a new lick of paint.
From a dusty shell… a much cleaner (and organised) space has emerged.
New concrete floors have been poured and stud work for the new rooms is in place. The building team have built a new covered entrance area, which has been roofed and made watertight.
We’re so excited to see our vision coming to life.
